Been my go to since my childhood in 1964 when they were on Summit Avenue.
Fast forward, they moved to Moonachie and would go on my lunch and bring a cooler.
Sad to say, stopped there today and a handmade sign on the door 'CLOSED'.
No lights on. None of their delivery trucks in the lot. There were, however, three vehicles parked in the front lot. Walked up and checked the door. Locked. No one answered. Called them and did not get the usual message. Just states "leave your name and number and someone will get back to you". Doesn't even acknowledge that it's Star. No one ever returned my call.

I have a question for long-time Star Ravioli (meat in particular) fans.
Growing up in North Jersey, Star meat ravioli was the bomb for Sunday dinner.
I would stop by Ernie's Delicatessen in Rutherford (where I grew up) and get 4 boxes for our meal. At the time, if I had to I'd go directly to the source, with Star located in Lodi.

I'm planning a trip to North Jersey, and I need to know if this is still the place I know, only now located to Moonachie? Hey, same difference, as long as I get what I'm after. Truly the best frozen meat ravioii for this NJ Italian.

Very disappointed Love star ravioli Went there today (web site said open 9 to 3) about 12:30 and it was closed drove around for about 15 minutes it was still closed No ravioli tonight for dinner
