The food here totally surprised me with how tasty and affordable it was, especially considering it's right by the Statue of Liberty where you'd expect overpriced, mediocre stuff. I had a great burger and fries, and even though the wait was a bit slow and the staff seemed a bit distracted, the meal was definitely worth it on a hot day.

The Crown Cafe near the base of the Statue of Liberty offers surprisingly delicious and affordable food, despite being a typical tourist trap with limited dining options on Liberty Island, where I enjoyed a New Yorker Burger and fries while watching pigeons stroll through swinging doors on a Saturday morning.
