The food here truly captures the essence of authentic soul cooking, with generous portions and flavors that remind me of home. The fried fish, collard greens, mac and cheese, and yams are all seasoned perfectly and taste like they were made with care and tradition. Friendly service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere make every visit a comforting experience I look forward to repeating.

I ordered.
Chicken wings , bake macaroni and cheese and Green Beans.The macaroni and cheese was a bit Salty And overcooked , and it was mushy. The green beans was from a can , And they were
Mushy also . The chicken wings were season good But , it had too much fat on the chicken And the chicken wings were huge. Payed $ 16.00

This soul food spot offers a genuine experience with its modest decor and welcoming atmosphere. Ordering through Grubhub was a breeze, and the food arrived quickly and piping hot, exceeding expectations. I got the fish platter and the fish was not the same as it was when they first opened it was just okay but for $13.00 it could of been better

I appreciate the good home cooking that the offer at Evelyn's. My orders are always hot and freshly serve and the eat-in is always clean!!! Fried Cat Fish and Grits.
