I consistently order from China 1 for Chinese takeout on Roosevelt Island because the food is fresh, well-prepared, and includes dishes like shrimp egg foo young, General Tso's tofu, and roasted duck with rice that I really enjoy. The service is quick and friendly, the portions are generous, and despite slightly higher prices, the quality and authenticity make it worth it.

My favorite spot for Chinese food in Roosevelt Island is China 1. They make a killer shrimp egg foo young that hits the spot every time. The delivery is quick, the portions are generous, and the food is always fresh and delicious.
