As a Haitian American, I enjoy a variety of cuisines beyond just Haitian food. One evening, my girlfriend and I spontaneously decided to grab some food, and I seized the chance to satisfy my craving for Haitian cuisine. Although we hadn't intended to dine in, we ended up staying and enjoying a drink recommended by the bartender, the Yolie's rum punch, which was a delightful blend of fruit and rum. The fried banana, fried pork, and goat we ordered were hearty and satisfying, complemented by a side of pickles for that extra kick of flavor.
