The Cabin Tavern, Anchorage's oldest bar since 1940, offers a rustic, laid-back atmosphere with a sod-covered roof, a horseshoe-shaped wooden bar, and a variety of games including pool, darts, and arcade machines. With friendly bartenders, affordable craft beers served in cold mason jars, and a mix of local patrons, it provides a unique and welcoming environment perfect for relaxing, socializing, and enjoying a memorable drink like their signature Bloody Mary.

The oldest bar in Anchorage is a unique gem with sod growing on the roof - a sight to behold for someone like me from a desert area. The horseshoe bar and old-timey wooden decor give off a charming vibe, perfect for grabbing drinks and shooting pool. Despite some cleanliness issues, the place exudes a dive bar charm that is hard to resist - complete with a Bloody Mary that's a meal in itself.

Very poor service. The help was very rude and management didn't rectify.
