While the cuisine may diverge from traditional Mexican fare, the unique local twist at this Springfield establishment makes it a favorite of mine. The Chico Mexican Plate, featuring a spiced ground beef enchilada with beans and rice topped with flavorful red sauce, combined with their exceptional hot sauce, consistently delivers a satisfying dining experience.

I love the unique twist on Mexican cuisine at this Springfield original spot. The enchiladas and burritos with yellow chili con queso are a must-try, served with delicious hot and sweet sauces. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food is consistently fantastic.
