8 violations stated on your September inspection!!!!!!! You should be ashamed of yourself every time you get inspected y’all have more than 7 violations except when you had your first inspection when you opened and had no cooking happening 😞 just close up and let someone clean run it. It’s not even like they were major violations but they are all repeat violations which means your chef is incompetent and doesn’t learn from his mistakes you guys are gonna kill somebody one day from time temperature abuse.

SOME of the food is good.. The regular menu and happy hour menu changes by the week and day. The menu on the Polo Trace website has been outdated for months. I'm not sure what ever happened to the Survey Monkey results GL homes sent out to Polo Trace residents? Several of the survey questions pertained to the restaurant. It would be nice if they can get it together.

This place is awful 😣 they have not had a health inspection which there were no violations…. I mean basic food safety especially during covid time if they can’t figure it out during this time of extreme detailed cleaning what goes on during regular times when there’s no emphasis on pandemic cleaning??? And these people own a catering company? So they should know that basic sanitation is important and can’t use ignorants as an excuse just dirty people and horrid management.

My husband took me here for dinner I freaking wish she didn’t because it was awful I will never come back again the worst experience I’ve had dining in a long time. Spoke to Chef he was just as in sufferable is his food

My husband took me to her on-site restaurant for the first time since we bought our new home. It was Mother’s Day I expected to wait a little while to be seated we waited almost 20 minutes without even being told that somebody will be with us. When we finally were sat we are presented what’s the most ridiculous Mother’s Day brunch menu you can imagine nothing special like you’re going to a diner But the only thing is if I wanted to go to a diner I would’ve went to a diner

We just moved to Pollo trace recently and tried the restaurant for the first time since moving and without question the reviews here are legitimate and we will not be returning the food is awful service was slow and the owners were obnoxious.

This place is serving food they are making in their catering kitchen and bringing it over. How long has it been sitting out? How many days?
These owners all though super nice are not Restaurant People. My family owns several restaurants in Chicago and these owners are in over their head. They should stick to catering it’s a whole different operation. They should step down and allow a real restaurant operation to come in.
I observed multiple health violations and it’s only a matter of time before that catches up with them.




They are trying but it’s not fir them.

I’ve eaten at bridges, 7 bridges, and most of the Valencia’s...none of them are as good as ours. I NEVER heard profanity used and they make their food in this kitchen...nothing but fresh! These complaints are very pathetic and the restaurant owner from Chicago should move back!

Been there many times. Servers are friendly and attentive. Food very good and portions large enough to take home possibly for 2nd meal. I have found they strictly adhere to COVID protocols. People should take their complaints to manager rather than write a scathing review after one meal.

This place is absolutely awful!.... unless you like cafeteria food and I wish I would have read the food inspector reports before I went nothing too major but definitely cause for concern employees handling soiled equipment then transitioning into cooking without washing hands gross and no paper towels or soap at hand washing sinks???..I guess they just don’t wash their hands. Storing raw food over bread 🤢🤢 just go read for your self. These people apparently own a catering company also called chez gourmet so be careful people

The convenience of having a restaurant on premise is offset by the taste of the food and the price. At best , the food is on par or not as good as the dinners I prepare at home. The portions have gotten smaller and the specials are overpriced. Service is hit or miss. The owners are a lovely couple, who I believe are sincerely interested in providing quality food and a good dining experience, but seem to be misguided and missing the mark. There are so many quality restaurants in the Delray area, it’s unfortunate that the Palms is not one of them. Come on Matt and Kelley- we like you and really want to like the dining experience, please get it together.

We had dinner last night. We were pleasantly surprised. I had the salmon. It was cooked a nice med rare. The coconut rice, Brussel sprouts and asparagus were all delicious. Our server (Michael I think) was very attentive. We enjoyed the whole experience

We were excited to move into Polo Trace and have a restaurant in the clubhouse. Needless to say, we have been extremely disappointed. The menu looks great but the food is simply not up to par in any way. I recently ate at Seven Bridges which is also GL Homes and the food was superb. I hope that you can model our restaurant to be like theirs.

Went here while visiting a friend and had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant....finally sat down and it took another 20min for the young lady at the bar to finish chatting to take our order. When the food finally arrived the orders were all wrong and the food was cold, it’s safe to say that the next time we will be leaving the community to eat out in a good restaurant.
