I ordered from Asaro's for the first time and found the food to be exceptional, with the Italian Wedding soup, mussels, lasagna, and tiramisu all being flavorful and hot upon delivery. In the past, I had a less favorable experience due to a power outage that affected my order, but this time everything was perfect. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is attentive, making it a pleasant dining experience overall.

Our family has been coming to Asaro's of Venice for many years. We bring our family for family dinners, birthdays and any celebration you can imagine. We come from Englewood, North Port and Venice. Tonight we received our bill it stated a price. We gave our credit card and when the bill came back they charged us more. We were then told if you pay with credit card you pay more. We are people who tip the waitresses 25% + at a normal visit. We visit every two weeks or so. On New Years the waitress we had was rude and obnoxious. We understood she was overwhelmed and still tipped her well over the amount one should tip. We are so sad that our family restaurant that we have patronized for so many years has stooped to this tactic. As a business owner myself I am so disappointed in their handling of this. I guess good things must end due to greed but surely this is very sad. We will not return. If the economy is so bad and you needed to charge a dollar more you should have just done that. Embarrassing to this business to charge folks for using credit. Very disappointed!!!
