The place I visited was truly amazing with delicious food and stunning views. The store on-site offered unique items, although some of the staff seemed a bit reserved, possibly due to our unfamiliarity with the area - which I completely understand and respect.

Best food around! We love to drive up to Tennessee and enjoy a meal! Best ever! It's definitely our favorite restaurant.

Cher and the staff helped to make an amazing birthday for our 90th birthday Dad!! The baby back ribs, brisket and barbecue, onion rings, chocolate cake were all so very delicious. The pies are amazing too! Can't wait to go back again!

On Monday, Nov. 12, 2019 between 11-12 noon, my husband and I visited you establishment, We were promptly greeted when entering and told to sit wherever we liked. We preceded enter the room with the salad bar and sat down at round table on the left side near railing and windows (viewing waterwheel shed). While looking at a menu and waiting for a server to wait on us; two woman entered the room and proceeded to sit at table on next level by stairs. A blonde female server wearing pink t-shirt approached their table, looking at us in the process (with no acknowledgement of our presence).. She took their complete order and went to enter into their system. The two ladies then came back up to make selection off salad bar, My Husband and I were gettting very impatient waiting. We had already been sitting at our table for 12 minutes. He said that he would give it 8 more minutes; then we were leaving. I wanted to go out in waiting area to let someone know we had not received service. I observed the same server after completing the ladies orders busying herself wiping tables on lower level. That's when we finally had enough and left. There were 3 employees in waiting doing something, not sure what. who didn't acknowledge us leaving. As I was getting in our red Dodge pickup, a gentleman caring for the bbq pit told us to have a great day. That's is when I commented that my day would have been great if we had been able to get some service, He said he would let the owners know of our situation. I am only giving you all these details so that when the owners read this review and check into information they can see that this a legit complaint.I have managed sit-down dining and fast food restaurants for over twenty years. I know how guests should be treated. I told my husband that I wanted to informed management about our service by bringing it to their attention. You can;t fix something if you don't know there is a problem. Obviously the server was inadequately trained or didn't care about doing her job. We preceded to stop at Whistling Cafe in Counce, TN for lunch,, We received hot. home cooked food and excellent service.
