I went during Burger and Brew night and tried the Beyond Meat burger, which totally blew me away, especially with that curry ketchup on the fries. While staying at the Founders Inn and Spa, we also had crab bisque and a four-cheese pepperoni pizza-the bisque was a bit sweeter than I prefer but the lump crabmeat was a nice touch, and the pizza was hot, crunchy, and delicious. The food overall was really good, especially the smoked Gouda bacon mac & cheese, but the service was pretty slow and the server seemed kind of uninterested.

During my visit to the Founders Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach, I dined at the Hunt Room after a busy day at a bridal show. The food was delicious - my husband loved the bacon cheeseburger, and my smoked Gouda bacon mac & cheese was the best I've ever had. However, the service was quite slow and our server didn't seem very enthusiastic, which was disappointing. Despite this, we would consider returning solely for the exceptional food quality.

Wow! Maybe the noisiest eating place I've been in. Painful noise level. Be prepared.
Menu OK, not outstanding. Fried oysters very average.Duck sure wasn't Maple Leaf . Very chewy and little sauce to help soften it.
Wine list very overpriced for the quality.
Not cheap. 2 dinners with one appetizer a glass of wine and a bottle with tip $200. And you pay for parking. Won't be back
