The interior of this tea house in NYC is as stunning and peaceful as a hidden forest retreat in Japan. However, my biggest gripe is with the instructor's hypocrisy during the lesson, which shattered the tranquility of the experience. Despite the cost, the opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese tea culture and participate in the ceremony is well worth it at the Urasenke Chanoyu Center.
