Normally, I prefer cornmeal-crusted catfish with tartar sauce, but the lightly battered fillets served over cheesy grits with a rich crawfish gravy here completely changed my mind-it was one of the best dishes I've had on the lake. The sides were a mixed bag: the slaw was fine, but the corn was disappointing and lacked flavor. Service was fantastic, especially from Landon, and the whole experience, from the cold beer in a glass mug to the laid-back lakeside vibe, made for a memorable visit that I can't wait to repeat.

The fried fillets served over cheesy grits with a delicious sauce and crawfish were absolutely amazing, and the chicken strips were also fantastic. The service at Jimmy's was exceptional, and the location on Norris Lake was perfect for a relaxing meal by the water.
