Under new ownership, Hemlock has undergone significant improvements. During a recent weekend outing, my group visited the hostel and was impressed by the hospitality of the owners, Hayley and James. We arranged a shuttle with them from Spring Mountain Shelter to Hurricane Gap, where we enjoyed clean accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and convenient amenities.
