Wow, I had an amazing experience at Carmack's over the weekend when my family and I decided to grab some takeout. Despite the limited online menu, we tried the catfish and hamburger steak, which were both incredibly flavorful and came with delicious sides like perfectly cooked fries, crispy fried okra, and yummy coleslaw. The place was bustling with locals, always a good sign, and the owner even took the time to chat with us outside before we left. I'll definitely be returning to enjoy the spot-on boiled shrimp and perfectly cooked fried fish again - such a gem of a family-owned restaurant with great food and friendly service!

Didnt care for the place tried it 2 times incase it was better 2nd time nope it was just as bad everything was greasy I dont know if a batter oil would help,but I dought it won't be back.
