On a Tuesday in Parkersburg, WV, I enjoyed a variety of delicious Japanese dishes including spring rolls, gyoza, and a new spicy salmon roll, all served with exceptional dipping sauces and reasonably priced portions. The service was consistently courteous and efficient, the miso soup and onion soup stood out, and although there was a minor issue with the Tom Yum soup preparation, the staff handled it professionally by removing it from the bill.

Recently had a fantastic lunch at Tokyo Restaurant in Parkersburg with some friends. The spring rolls and Gyoza were absolutely delicious, especially with those amazing dipping sauces! I can't remember the name of the new roll I tried, but it had spicy salmon and it was really good. The miso soup was also a standout for me, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely planning to go back for more!

The food and the service in this place is spot-on. One thing to keep in mind don't let your entire party leave the table at the same time unless you're leaving. they will clear it immediately. My husband took my son to the bathroom and I took myself came back to an empty table they fixed it right away though.

The pad tai here is excellent, I recommend spicy with extra peanuts! Fantastic, if not out right addictive. The fantasy roll is a personal favorite as well. The big draw here is the relaxed cozy atmosphere. No pretense, no tacky panache, just good food and arguably the best wait staff in town. Every person who works here makes you feel like family. I can't say enough good things about this place. Great food, and not hard on the wallet. On average I spend about $10 dollars a meal. Although, I often leave a $10 tip as well. The food and service actually warrants a 100% tip and I don't say that lightly. This is my favorite place in town!
