The diner down the street is a real hidden gem. It's a cozy spot where the locals go for some good old-fashioned comfort food. The portions are hearty, the prices are fair, and the staff makes you feel right at home - it's definitely a place worth checking out.

Since Amanda left, the place has gone downhill. She was friendly and customers had coffee in their cups the minute they sat down. If you were a frequent customer, she knew your order (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). Amanda was fast and your order never sat waiting for her to pick it up. It was always hot.

Since she left, I have had to wait longer for my order to be taken. When I did receive my order, there was long black hair in it. I know which waitress has long black hair. The toast was cold and had slabs of butter on it. Because the toast was not warm, the butter could not be spread.

There used to be a 'regular' crowd there every morning. It looks like none of them have returned since Amanda has left. The morning waitresses look like they don't want to work and sometimes vocalize it. It is not an easy job but please make an effort to be pleasant.

Lyla lost a great person when Amanda left. Lyla's loss is Charlie's (on Howe Road) gain.

Ordered blueberry pancakes specifically because it said it was made with real blueberries inside the pancakes. It arrived and it was plain pancakes with blueberry pie filling bull on top. When I called to let them know the lady was short with me and came off rude. Unfortunately since it was through door dash we have to take it up with them for a refund, however they will only refund $3 even though the pancakes were $8. So I dont get my pancakes and dont get the money back. All around bullsh*t. Provide what you advertise and if you dont have it, then you let the customer know so they can choose for themselves since that's who's paying. As far as the rest of the order(meatlovers skillet), it was bland and just kinda there. Like I'd eat it if I was starving, but I'll never willingly subject myself to this food again.
