The food and service were impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options available, particularly the jerk chicken, oxtail, and goat curry. Although we experienced a wait for a table and slow food service, the atmosphere was enjoyable, enhanced by live music and friendly staff. Overall, it's a vibrant spot for authentic Jamaican cuisine and a great place to unwind with friends.

My boyfriend and I took a weekend excursion to Michigan City, Indiana and were looking for out of the way restaurants to visit. We found Cool Runnings and were not disappointed. I had the oxtails, red beans and rice and steamed cabbage and he had the jerk chicken wing, mac and cheese and red beans and rice. We were served enough for 2 meals and the food was absolutely delicious. We'll make the trek from Chicago real soon as the hospitality was fantastic. I wish I could give more than 5 stars as we were very pleased!!!
