I was born in Libby, Mt and lived there 41 years. We just moved back after being away for 25 years and the first thing we did was go to the MK for dinner. It was terrible! The prices have gone up a bunch and they give much less. The "prime rib" was the worst piece of steak I have ever had. Don't bother going there.

The "MK"Ranch was great in the 50'd also. The steaks were just the same then, as now. Tender. em em..... Buck was a cowboy, vaudeville performer, and raised beautiful horses. A couple were in movies, and quite famous. Warren [Winston, Oregon]

You absolutely gotta stop at the MK if you're anywhere close to it!
The steaks are delicious and so tender you don't need a fork to cut 'em.
The prices are way low and the food quality way high. If the MK were in Spokane it'd cost two or three times as much.
MK stands for "Montana Kid" Buck Lewis who built it.
I often fly visitors from my house in Spokane to the Libby Airport and walk the mile or so to the MK. I tell 'em "if you have to use a knife to cut your steak, I'll buy it for you!" I've never had to pick up the tab!
Get the fillet Mignon - it's the best.
