Very poor service. Not greeted but aware of our arrival. Sat down and waited. Manager called all the help to the kitchen and commenced yelling at them telling the help that she was getting bad reviews because of service. This went on for about 10 minutes. Very uncomfortable to the customers. Obviously likes to micro manage. Sat for about 15 minutes and no service. Another couple came in after us and seated themselves. A waitress went to their table and ignored us. Can't tell about the food as we could not order. Left feeling disappointed. Training should be done outside restaurant hours or at least quietly so customers don't have to listen while waiting for service.

Thompson Grill is one of those places where all of the locals go. The last time I was in Thompson Falls I asked around for a good place to have lunch and the answer from everyone was "Thompson Grill."
It's a tiny place but the portions are huge. I ordered their cheese-steak sandwich which was phenomenal! Plenty of tender beef and dripping with cheese all on a giant hoagie roll. That and along with the side of fries and I couldn't finish it all and not for lack of trying.
Anyone traveling through western Montana would do themselves a favor by stopping in Thompson Falls and the Thompson Grill.
The scenery around the town is stunning and the town itself is terraced on the mountain-side with the Clark Fork River running below. Just watch out for the big horn sheep!
