I must say the food was still just as good as I remember from the first time I ate at Soup N Such. But, the environment was absolutely horrific! I made my way to the restroom to wash my hands and the stench was awful. The bathroom was disgusting for starters. Then, as I approach the salad bar, I notice that some of the plates are still dirty and some of the silverware still had food on it. Then, as i sit at my table, the table cloth is dirty as hell and all the tables around me resemble the one I am to sit at. Not to mention the floor being dirty and sticky as well. Even the salt and pepper shakers at my table were sticky! And as I pull out my chair to sit down, the back or the chair is also dirty and sticky. I just don't know how everything I touch in this restaurant has some sort of unpleasant, gooey residue on it. This was my second visit and I will never eat at Soup N Such ever again.

The Soup and Such location in Billings Heights isn't much on decor but the food is terrific and the prices aren't bad either. Everything is unlimited serve yourself except for the sandwich which is made in the kitchen and brought to you. There are seven soups made fresh daily. The day I was there I shamelessly tried them all. There is nothing so satisfying as a bowl of hot, hearty soup on a crisp Autumn day. The 40-item salad bar was loaded with an array of fresh veggies to suit every taste and a variety of toppings and dressings. Fresh bread-sticks and crackers complete the list. The half sandwich, served in a basket, comes on your choice of freshly baked bread and there is a good choice of deli meats, cheese and the typical sandwich veggies. It is served with a handful of potato chips. There is the usual battery of serve yourself beverages with as many refills as you want. Casual, fun, good food at a fair price, what more do you need?
