Great Food, Great People

My son and I went to Bar 3 on Wed. Feb. 3 for a quick dinner before a meeting. There were a lot of people there, since they have a half-price rib night on Wednesdays. There was one cook, and one lady taking care of the diningroom. We waited for 35 min., and were about to call it quits, when she came out, apologizing about our order being delayed. It seems the order slip fell onto the floor and was unnoticed for quite a while.
I know this is sounding bad, but the way they handled it really impressed me. The lady gave us free drinks while we waited only about 5 more minutes for our food. The food was delicious. Then, she brought out gift cards for two free dinners on the house, and insisted that we take free desserts out the door with us when we left.
We were 15 min. late for the meeting, but had happy, full tummies and a warm feeling for the way Bar 3 went way beyond nice to make us feel appreciated. Bravo!
