ive been to every west indian restaurant in the charlotte area. always order large oxtail, rice & peas, cabbage and mac and cheese. this time I added a beer. nice cozy spot (8.5). played nice reggae tunes, not too loud(9). service with a smile(10). positives: every item was seasoned and fresh ( some places are serving sides right out the can without seasoning). mac and cheese was better than most places in the area (8/10). negatives: some of the oxtail could have used bolder flavor. some pieces were hot, some luke warm. beer was warm. all being said, add a little salt and flavor to a couple of items and I would say its the best west indian spot in town. for now, its a close second. I would give it more than ok but less than very good. 3.5 stars.

Today my co worker and I decide to try this place. It's alittle prices for lunch. The food was not good to me at all. I ended up throwing my lunch in the trash. I will not be going back here ever again.
