The Caldereta at PhilHouse was nicely seasoned, while the Kare Kare was a little bland. The Filipino breakfast combo with fried rice, toscino, and egg was delicious, and the Sinigang, Pancit, Cari Cari, and Pork Adobo were all tasty options to choose from. The staff, while sometimes grouchy, are attentive and efficient, making the overall experience enjoyable.
