I'm a Houston native with a brother-in-law hailing from Mexico, so I've had my fair share of tamales. While typically I prefer to splurge on quality food rather than opt for the bargain stuff, these tamales at $3.50 each were a bit of a shocker. Despite the hefty price tag, they were quite large and satisfying, making them a unique find at the Soulard Market in St. Louis.
