Apparently they are great if you can get them to make your cake. I wouldn't know as I never got an order confirmation after 2 weeks of trying through email, call, text, Instagram, and Facebook messenger. I did get a text saying "I can't talk right now." The owner posted several times on Instagram, so I can't imagine messages weren't checked. It became apparent that they did not want my business, and I can't really tell you why. I would have appreciated an email or message stating they couldn't make our cake instead of being ghosted. I've read other reviews after the fact where people had the same experience as me. Madcakez was referred to me by a coworker, so I went out of my way to try and get a cake made to support them, especially with the lack of a wedding business during lockdown. I left 3 stars because the gentleman that helped me in their shop on Hickam was very pleasant and the cupcakes I purchased tasted good. The owner was not present at that time.
