Growing up, my daddy always brought us to Parran's for their incredible shrimp poboy, and on my recent visit with my wife, we enjoyed two hearty sandwiches for about $24, which felt like a great deal. The shrimp and catfish combo I ordered was perfectly seasoned and fresh, and despite the noisy atmosphere and tight parking, the delicious food and friendly service made the experience memorable enough to plan future visits.

Parran's serves up the best shrimp poboy I've ever had in New Orleans, and I've been coming here with my daddy for years. The food is always delicious, with generous portions and great service, making it a must-visit every time I'm in town.
