Retired from trucking 3 yrs ago. But while active came thru hawthorne every 2weeks. Always stopped at golden gate n had me some sub in the evening n then a breakfast sub to leave out the next day. Tgey were always made great and tasted even better. Staff was always friendly n helpful. Fresh cut meats n cheeses as you watched. My fave was sausage egg n provo with onions n their mayo/mustard spread.
