Went to the Felix Cafe at Monkey Junction , never been to either location before. Went with 3 friends to celebrate a birthday. First of all we had to wait an hour and a half to get horrible food !!!! Our waitress told us that the chef had taken 2 wks off so she was also back there cooking !!!! Also this place had horrible ambience! I did complain to the manager , he did comp our meals, was very apologetic and encouraged us to give them another try, as he also comfirmed the chef was off for 2 wks. That just doesn't sound right to me , but whatever ! Not sure I will ever go back.

Food quality is good, though the menu is a bit of a mystery. The atmosphere is a Key West, Caribbean style, but the menu is a combination of Italian, French, American, Carribean etc. Nothing seems to really fit.
The preparation of the food is done pretty well, it is edible and from what I tasted, seasoned properly.
Now the bad news. This was the most unorganized service I have experienced in any restaurant in this area.
Yes, there were eight people at our table and this is a small place. But the first appetizers came out about thirty minutes after we sat down. Considering the number of people in the restaurant this was acceptable. However, the rest of the entrees were served over a period of two and half hours. The final one arrived as the others were getting dessert, after asking the server to go look for it. Hope they get their act together in the future.
