Rudest experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The lovely town of Clovis, CA! My husband and I came to CA for my Uncles funeral! Our last night here, we attended the Farmers Market Sept 23, 2022! The restaurant was 559 Beer. A waitress was yelling if any one wanted a free beer! My husband said “I’ll take it”! The waitress hands it to him and then all hell breaks loose! We are verbally attacked by the waitress and the waitress supervisor! They refused to listen to our explanation of the misunderstanding! I paid for the beer but they refused a tip and wouldn’t serve me! The people from Clovis that I told this story to said everybody knows about the rudeness at this restaurant! All the other businesses and restaurants and residents were wonderful! We felt good about our trip and this experience was so mind blowing! Too bad it had to end like that! Oh, the waitress took our picture and threatened to put us on social media!
