We made reservations at the Thirsty Goat, because it was walking distance to the Palace Theatre. We arrived, were seated right away and let the waitress know that we would be leaving for a show in an hour and 15 minutes. Drinks were brought, and our order was taken for an appetizer and some tacos. We did not receive our order after 45 minutes, so we asked the waitress if she knew when the appetizer would arrive. She said she would check but did not return. After an hour, we said that we needed to leave in 15 minutes and were wondering if our food would be arriving soon. She said she couldn't guarantee it would arrive within 5 minutes, so we decided to ask for our check to pay for just the drinks. When I mentioned that it would be nice if they offered us a free drink, since we never even got to eat, the woman just looked at me. There were no apologies, information or any other comments made as to why our food and that of the tables around us never arrived. So strange...will not return or recommend this restaurant.
