Came in 10 minutes before closing. Must have upset the cook because he burned everything. Waited 25 minutes for it. Asked for ranch dressing twice never got it. Got asked about our drinks once right after our food was delivered never saw waitress until she brought the bill. Waited forever to pay with card so left cash and began to leave then waitress comes to get the payment. Second time i have ate here in 2 months time. Won't be back!

My family and I stopped for lunch at the Black Powder Bar and Grill today on our way back to Hampton Nebraska after camping at Harlan.. We would like to compliment you on all the wonderful food you serve. You have a great menu with many good items to choose from. We each ordered something different from nacho, french dip, popcorn chicken and hot beef sandwich and we were each very happy with what we ordered. The food was GREAT!!! You have a very clean place with very friendly staff and the food was ready quick!! Can't wait to get back that way to visit again.. Thanks!!

My husband and I went to the Black Powder Bar and Grill for the first time tonight. We had checked them out on the website but have learned that the website is from the previous owner who has not taken it down. They don't have access and cannot change it. There are some slight differences on the new menu. The major thing being that they don't have Prime Rib nightly.

The place was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great. My husband ordered his steak "blue" and it came out perfect. I had the chicken fried steak. It was the best I have had in years. No gristle at all!

We will be going back, for sure!
