My daughter and I went on a busy Friday night when they were understaffed but hustling nonstop, and I enjoyed the mix of good food like pizza, burgers, and steaks along with a solid selection of local IPAs. The walls covered in old newspaper clippings gave the place a unique, historic vibe that made the experience even more memorable, and I'm eager to come back and try more menu items next time I'm in the area.

During my visit to the Opera House on a bustling Friday night, I was intrigued by the historical newspaper clippings adorning the walls, shedding light on past events. The food was satisfactory, with a decent selection of local IPAs to accompany the meal. Despite the understaffing, the staff worked diligently to provide good service, making it a place I would consider revisiting in the future.

They don't 'make food any later than 9 o'clock on weekdays and half the time the service is terrible. Food is good though. Which works but not on game nights. Sorry unsatisfied......

the only reason i gave it four stars and not five was the salad bar could be enhanced. the prime rib is to die for. we eat in kcmo a lot but this prime rib can hold its own with the best of the bunch. just a great expirence. next time we visit we will make a stop, thanks from st.joe,mo.
