Stop by to see if they were open granted it was a Tuesday supposed to be closed but cars were there and more people were pulling in so just thought I would ask the lady asked me if couldn't read the sign and not in a nice way she lost alot of business that day we will not try again rudeness get you mothing

The food at J's Steakhouse was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere had a cozy bar/diner feel. The staff were friendly and my orders were served promptly and accurately. I've visited twice and both times I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which rivaled my previous favorite. If you find yourself in Beatrice, I recommend trying out this dive bar/restaurant for a satisfying dining experience.
