We grabbed one of the last tables at this tiny, charming spot and loved every bite, from the boys' bean and cheese burritos to our carne asada tacos on homemade corn tortillas topped with fresh onion and cilantro. The owner treats you like family, the food is super authentic and fresh, and it's become my favorite go-to for Mexican in Nebraska City.

A cozy, intimate eatery where we managed to secure one of the last three tables available, but happily settled at the counter instead. The boys devoured their bean and cheese burritos, while my husband and I savored the carne asada tacos on freshly made corn tortillas, garnished with raw white onion and cilantro. The taquitos we ordered as an extra treat were a hit with the whole family, leaving us fully satisfied and eager to return to this inviting spot in Nebraska City.
