After multiple attempts, I finally managed to visit this restaurant following a barrel race event in McCook. The prime rib, particularly the end cut, was exceptional, and the waitress mentioned that everything, including the pizza dough, is handmade on-site. The bread roll reminded me of my Mom's baking, and the house-made potato chips were a standout. The double cheeseburger and fried chicken salad were both delicious, and the ambience was cozy and reminiscent of a classic country buffet.

Town Talk is our 'go to' restaurant. I usually order their chicken fried chicken. It is a huge. portion and I usually have to take half of it home. My husband orders various items. He said the ribs were the best he has ever had. Before Covid, they had a great salad bar. They have had trouble with help due to Covid, so the service isn't the greatest, but Jen does the best she can. You just have to be patient and understanding. On Sundays we like to order take out. We get two dinners- two piece chicken dinner, complete with potato, vegetables, roll, butter and dessert all for less than $20. They also have another meat choice (pork roast, beef roast, and others) But it's the best fried chicken I have ever had, so we always get that.
