The best restaurant in Northeast Nebraska!

High prices, tree sloth paced service and terrible food. We have been there twice and that was enough for us.

Living here in Stanton I was very happy to see that we have a new eating place besides Subway and Wolfs Den. I have dined at the Uptown three times and that is enough. We first went with the kids and got a simple lunch, very slow service, way expensive and actually the worst sandwiches I've ever been served. My kids could not even finish them and they were very hungry. The second was a nice evening out and the starter soup was unedible, the main course was so so and the bill was sky high! The third time was for their buffet and it was mostly unedible, the service was horrendous and the price way over the top! I would not recomend the Uptown.

We've been dining with Adam & Roz for almost 30 years -- since their original location for the Uptown in Norfolk in 1981, and now every time we go to Northern NE, we stop at the Uptown -- a fab gourmet dining experience with small-town atmosphere, and great service!!

A jewel amid the cornfields of northeast Nebraska.
Adam and Roz are excellent hosts, and present cuisine you won't often find in a rural area.
A must stop.
