I discovered a fantastic taco Tuesday destination featuring chicken, beef, or mixed tacos in a puff shell that are both delicious and filling. The chips and queso paired perfectly with the house hot sauce, while the margarita was enjoyable and well-crafted. With over 35 years of consistent quality, the friendly service and homemade Mexican dishes, including the famous flour tortilla shell tacos, make it a place I plan to revisit frequently.

Waiting an hour. Watched people be seated ahead of us. We had a text saying our table was finally ready but when we went to the hostess she said they didn't have us in their system. We walked out!

Have been eating at Maria's since moving to Omaha Metro in 1986. Food always 5 Star. This is Mexican, not Tex Mex. Other than having to wait sometimes (No Reservations) this a great Family owned Local Neighborhood restaurant. Oh the Puffy Fried Flour Tacos are to die for.

Love Maria's food and usually have great service but tonight had to wait forever for a table even though there were 6 empty tables on the patio. Hostess said the waitress was too busy and they wouldn't seat any more people on the patio. We were not the only ones who walked out.

Went there last night (Friday). 50 minutes wait at the door since the tiny bar area was standing room only. After the wait I was really looking forward to a good meal. I ordered the taco plate and my wife got the enchilada plate. The food was bland (especially the meat) and instead of cheese on your tacos you get CHEESE SAUCE. The rice is parboiled (like Minute Rice) and has hardly any flavor. The beans were ok, but were also covered with the same gross cheese sauce. My $9.00 plate had 2 tacos, beans and rice. Kinda pricey. The service was not all that great and the waitress did a drive-by thank you and dropped off the check. She didn't even break stride.

I will not be going back.

Tacos are great. Margs are great. Everything else is o.k. The service is less than desirable. They seem to act as if they are doing you a favor by waiting on you.

Great service. Can't beat it. It is one of our favorite stops!

The food is good and that is why I go there. The prices for what you get are not good and the service is mentionable because it is bad. The waitresses are always unpleasant and can barely spew a thank you (even after leaving a tip!). After eating at this restaurant for YEARS and I have barely heard Mama Maria utter a word other than what we owe her and far from "Thanks and come again". Seriously, you run a business...customer service is paramount. No wonder their prices keep going up!

Taco's are terrific...They make their own form of tortilla, and they are really good. Enchiladas are also good. Don't take credit cards, so it's kind of a pain. Only open for lunch on Fridays...

My family and I have been eating at Maria's for over 20 years - we love it!! The food is great, but it also a little pricey.
