Had a fantastic dinner at The Grist in Lake Mills. The menu was a bit limited, but the staff was friendly, the drinks were great, and the food was well-seasoned and reasonably priced. Enjoyed a delicious smash burger and fries, while the teens loved the chicken tenders. The ambiance in the town was charming, and we'll definitely be returning for another great meal!

My family and I will not be returning, horrible food came out cold after waiting over an hour for a table then finally ended up eating at the bar, management (OWNER) needs more professional skills, other than being bellied up to the bar.

The service was just fine....the food not so much. Two people - we had the cornbread, as well as the fish and chips. We waited since the restaurant opened to go for the first time tonight, as we weren't hearing good things, We started hearing more positive comments - so went. We do not plan to go back.
