The mushroom and Swiss burger here is unbeatable, and the fries along with the fried green tomatoes are simply fantastic. I remember my first visit back in 1977 when it was still the A & B Tavern, and despite some local ribbing, the food was excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a touch of nostalgia from the pictures on the walls, and the service always makes you feel right at home.
