I was so sad to hear about the owner passing away, my heart goes out to his family. The bar had a cool vibe, great drinks, and friendly staff; I'll definitely be back for more fun nights at The Hard Swallow!

Worst bar in NYC. The owner, Big Lee, tries to force patrons to buy him shots and will kick you out if you refuse. Very ghetto place and they will surely double charge you if you use a credit card here. STAY AWAY! This bar is a toxic place!
