During our stay in Tahoe, we checked out a quaint restaurant right off Main Street that offered a family-friendly atmosphere with high chairs and a kids menu, although the sides for children were limited to French fries or mashed potatoes. The food portions were generous and tasty, especially the veggie burger and fries, and while the service was friendly and attentive, it was a bit slow due to understaffing.
