As a Guyanese, I often struggle to find authentic Caribbean food in Houston, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Smithy's. The curry shrimp roti was exceptional, and my fiancí©, who is Nigerian, couldn't get enough of the flavors, declaring that he wouldn't crave Jamaican food anymore. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home, and I can't wait to return for more delicious dishes and the vibrant Caribbean nights.
