I ordered a dozen tamales-half pork, half beef-and while the beef tamales had a perfect balance of meat to masa with just a hint of spice, the pork tamales fell flat, lacking flavor despite a good meat ratio. The vibrant, authentic flavors here always impress, especially when paired with their rich champurrado or refreshing horchata, though rising prices and shrinking portions make it a tougher indulgence these days.
