The chicken and fried rice at El Gordo are incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The ceviche is fresh and well-seasoned, making every dish satisfying and authentic.

During a recent food tour, I tried the ceviche, Chaula, and Chicha Morada at El Gordo. The Chaula, a fried rice dish, was particularly outstanding - I couldn't resist finishing it despite already indulging in a variety of other foods earlier. The ceviche was also flavorful, although I had to skip the corn and onions to save room for our next stops. The cozy restaurant offers authentic Peruvian dishes beyond just their renowned pollo ala brasa, making it a great find for those seeking rich and well-seasoned flavors in the area.
