Was in there this past weekend and saw a smokin band called the Swindlers. Really good stuff. I would go see them again.

Food is a 10 when x is the cook otherwise it
is a crap shoot as far as what you will get. Menu
has been very limited as the place is up for sale and the owner doesn't want to put more money in to it. The place is dirty and has falling ceiling tiles by the door. The waitresses are nice but the female bartenders are very rude if you don't gamble. The custmers tend to be low income
and scary.

Make sure you are there when "X" (Xavier) or Marcos is cooking. They are all great cooks but these 2 are my favs. Wednesday is the day to be there because they serve fish and chips all day long. The fish planks look like they have been on steroids an the chips are crisscut and very juicy/crispy. The late night breakfast specials are THE BOMB, ham and eggs specials are more than an average person can eat for only $1.99, biscuits and gravy tastes like no other and steak and eggs are PRIMO. The bartenders are cool and the customers are really welcoming. This is a CUIBS bar so everyone here is first class. That reminds me to try to CHICAGO BEEF SANDWICH, just like the originals in the Windy City.
