Food was good. Service was not. I don’t think it was our waitress’s fault. She was busting her butt. I think the problem was in the kitchen. We ordered two orders of crawfish and one order of pistolet and two kids meals. They screwed up and brought the crawfish out way early ( I believe the crawfish they brought us was meant for someone else) and the rest of the order was at least 30 minutes later. My young grandsons were real troopers waiting for their food. I’m from out of town. If I lived here I’d be hesitant to go back.

Went last night, grandparents with us so we ordered to go. Got two individual shrimp gunbos for them and a quart of shrimp gumbo and salad. I was so embarrassed as I was treating my grandparents and when we go t home one small gumbo had no shrimp at all not even a piece of one and the other one had 3 shrimp the quart had probably 10 to fifteen, they all fit in serving spoon. The kicker was they gave us two tablespoons of rice each for the single gumbos and a half a cup for the quart of gumbo. The salad was ok. II will never go back to the Rodair Roadhouse again. You can’t sell shrimp gumbo and charge the prices you charge with no shrimp and then give two tablespoons of rice. We used to love this place and it’s very sad it’s come to this.

Fun times at the Roadhouse. Met up with college girlfriends last weekend. Good drinks and laughs. Used Uber to get home.
