I tried this place for the first time a few days ago and the food blew me away! I'm hooked now for sure. The chicken was crispy, the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious, and the greens had just the right amount of spice. The one thing that might hold me back from returning or suggesting it to friends is that they serve everything in styrofoam containers. It would be great to see them switch to compostable containers for a more eco-friendly option.

Love this place! Any cook who can fry chicken and fish with no grease left in the finished product knows what they're doing. Their fried fish is just amazing. And why fry chicken at home and get your house all smelling like grease when you can go to McGee's and get it done better. The sides here are done right, too. It's hard to pick one meal from the extensive menu. So many great choices.
