The food is freshly made to order and features authentic German dishes like schnitzel and Reuben sandwiches, both of which I found flavorful and satisfying. The beer selection is impressive, with a variety of German brews on tap that complement the meal well. Although the atmosphere feels authentic and the deli offers a nice selection of imported goods, the service was slow and the staff seemed unfriendly during my visit, which impacted the overall experience.

Everything I have ordered there is amazing. Whether a Schnitzel sandwich or Rolaude n with cabbage, their food is always spot on. Their deli meats and cheeses are amazing as well. If your in Boise/Meridian and want to try some great German food, go to Das Alpenhaus.
