Driving through Cedar Rapids, I decided to try El Bajio and was immediately impressed by the amazing smoked margarita and flavorful dishes like chicken enchiladas and choripollo. The friendly and attentive staff made the experience even better, with quick service and a welcoming atmosphere that felt both cozy and spacious. Whether enjoying street tacos or the delicious birria, every visit has been consistently satisfying, making this my go-to for authentic Mexican cuisine in the area.

We stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant while driving through and decided to give it a shot. The food was delicious, especially the smoked margarita which had a perfect balance of flavors. My husband was so impressed that he already wants to come back on our next road trip!
